Westfield's matcha cafe Maiko has finally opened! During the grand opening, there is a half-price promotion, which includes matcha ice cream cones and matcha parfaits. Only $3 for a matcha ice cream in Bay Area! I ordered a matcha flavor waffle cone. The cones for the ice cream are made fresh by the staff and they're so crispy and yummy! The line looked long, and it wrapped around almost a full circle, but it moved quickly. It took me about twenty minutes to reach the front of the line to place my order. After ordering, I waited less than five minutes to receive my order. gogogo!! The menu also includes hojicha and vanilla flavors. I didn't try them, but my friend said that the hojicha flavor is also delicious, not too sweet, with a slight bitterness~ #bayarea #foodie #matcha
